MEMBERSHIP COVENANT

Having received Christ as my Lord and Savior and having been baptized, and agreeing with the beliefs, values and structure of Full Life Family Church, I commit myself to God and to the other members of my church to do the following:

1. I will do my best to live my life according to the Word of God and the tenets of faith of Full Life Family Church.

  •  “Live in complete harmony with each other — each with the attitude of Christ toward each other.” Romans 15:5
  • “But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.” James 1:22

2. I will do my best to support Full Life Family Church by doing the following:

a)   Praying for the church

  •  I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity. This is good and pleases God our Savior, who wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth.” 1 Timothy 2:1-4

b)   Regularly attending services and participating in church life

  •  “Let us not give up the habit of meeting together...but let us encourage one another.” Hebrews 10:25

c)   Volunteering my time and abilities

  • “Serve one another with the particular gifts God has given each of you...” I Peter 4:10

d)   Regularly contributing financially as the Lord enables

  • “Each one of you, on the first day of each week, should set aside a specific sum of money in proportion to what you have earned and use it for the offering.”

1 Corinthians 16:2

  • “Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, “I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test!” Malachi 3:10

3. I agree to be governed by the bylaws of Full Life Family Church.

  • “Obey your leaders and submit to their authority. They keep watch over you as men who must give an account. Obey them so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be no advantage to you.” Hebrews 13:17
  • “Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God.” Romans 13:1
