Full Life Family Church Camp

Come join us for our second annual Full Life Church Camp!

This will be a great opportunity to get to know your church family better. We will have a lot of fun, worship God and eat yummy food!

When:


Thursday, July 18 – Sunday, July 21, 2019

Where:

Lower Penstemon, South Hills

Cost:

A small non-refundable registration fee of $20 saves your spot. That's it!

We will receive a free-will offering on Saturday evening.


Day camping is free.

Other Details:

Thursday is an optional day for anyone who would like to go up early and get setup and hangout prior to the official start of our corporate camping schedule on Friday.


Friday is for others to join us and get setup. We will provide smores later that evening around one of the campfires to gather everyone together.

We will have some activities/games on Saturday:


  • Volleyball
  • Baseball
  • Horseshoes
  • Tug-of-war
  • Kids Scavenger Hunt


Saturday evening we will have a “potluck” camp dinner together. The church will provide BBQ chicken by Chef James Jackson. Please bring a larger side dish and/or dessert to share.

After dinner Saturday we will gather for worship, prayer and a devotional.

Sunday morning we will meet for a short devotional and breakfast burritos together. Individuals will be contacted as to what to bring for this. We will pack up and be out by 11am.


Available amenities:

-fire pit at each campsite

-vault toilets

-drinking water

-creek runs along campground (fishing for trout is allowed and great for kids to cool off in)

-open field for games (kind of uneven with a lot of holes)

-picnic table at each campsite

Optional activities

We will not be providing any of these activities corporately. This is on your own time and with your own gear:

  • Hiking Trails
  • Biking Trails
  • ATV Trails
  • Horse Trails
  • Fishing

PLEASE BRING:

  • Your own food for your family for the weekend
  • All camping gear necessary for your family & wood for your fire
  • Games to share (i.e. board games, cards, horseshoes, baseballs/bats/mitts)
  • Offering to help cover camp costs


Please let us know if you need any gear. We have many families that have extra and would be willing to share.
